Two of Jerry's great grandfathers farmed in the area, and another great grandfather homesteaded in the Badlands area of South Dakota. Jerry's paintings and drawings reflect this heritage with art work that involves western landscapes, cowboys, mid-western rural scenes, and draft horses.
